Chef Migaku Inaba, a native of Shizuoka Prefecture, is renowned for his profound dedication to the art of Japanese cuisine. His culinary journey began in the picturesque settings of Shizuoka, where he was deeply influenced by the rich natural resources and the culinary heritage of the region. After honing his skills at the esteemed hotel Kiyomizu, Chef Inaba received the prestigious “Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Award,” a testament to his skill and innovation in the kitchen.

 In 2008, he ventured to establish his own restaurant, MIGAKU, in the heart of Izu Kogen, which quickly became a culinary landmark known for its exceptional seafood dishes. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to expand his ventures, including founding MIGAKU Inc., and establishing a successful tuna wholesale business, further showcasing his ability to blend business acumen with culinary expertise.

 In 2020, Chef Inaba took a significant step by committing to promote Japanese cuisine internationally, particularly focusing on sushi and seafood, through the Shizuoka Federation of Commerce and Industry’s initiative in Seattle. This move culminated in the establishment of Absolute Inc. with his partner, Toshikazu Sakuma, in 2021, marking the beginning of an ambitious journey to bring authentic Japanese dining experiences to a global audience.
